I recall driving between cities in Spain. The travel advisors would tell us that it would take TWO HOURS to travel among certain cities, as if it was an impossible amount of driving. I'd laugh. My typical day has three to five hours driving, and when I was farming on weekends, I drove five hours each way. Not that I miss it, but people whose cultures don't revolve around highways are easily bewildered by the facts of travel in the US.Uncle Al wrote:
