My favorite smilie here is this one that I think is misnamed as : faint : I think it should be :passed out: or :pasdout:

I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

I also don't see what is "girly" about the skirt. I often wear skirts that many would consider too feminine, whether it is because:
1) the color is wrong (too bright and colorful),
2) there are sequins attached that sparkle in the sunlight,
3) the string ties have bells that jingle
4) there is a pattern to the fabric
5) the skirt has one or more tiers that include lace or crocheted fabric
It boils down to the fact that society has deemed some things as feminine and others masculine. All that really matters is which ones you are prepared to accept and reject for yourself. If it feels wrong, then don't wear it. If it makes you feel good, then wear it with pride.
So GothScot, which 'burb do you live in? Sounds like you are in my neck of the woods.

Be Bold. Be Skirted.

nicothoe,
I guess why I thought some might find it "girly" is the sheer amount of fabric and the softness thereof. It's not my usual Tripp "one-legged pants" or the few denim maxis with the back vent I snagged at Maurice's on clearance.
In answer to your question, I'm in DeKalb.

(On a related note to this thread, I'm still a tad irked about getting jumped all over earlier in the thread for referring to the S.O. as "Female." That's her sex/gender and we're not in a place yet where "Partner" would apply, nor would either of us like that term as budding English types.)
