Main thing is, you two are SAFE :!:

If you ever visit 'Youtube', check out 'Redwheel'. Interesting(often times funny) how
people solve their "Karen" problems.

Having never physically met - I still think of you as 'my kids' :)

In a nutshell, we basically crossed up with a "Karen".

My old naive country boy ass just isn't used to this new metropolitan lifestyle.

It's okay though... lesson learned.

So far, at the new place nobody has bothered to introduce themselves.... and we are VERY MUCH OKAY with that!

We'll be polite, but we're really just want to keep to ourselves henceforth.

In the past, every. single. time (yes even in Virginia), we'd let a new friend into our world, it ALWAYS ended badly. That's why I've often told Liz, when we'd sometimes discuss the lack of company we had at our old house... "friends = drama".

For ten years I've been wearing skirts, and people left me alone back east. I think they thought "they might catch the gay" or something... I don't know, I just know everyone seemed to shy away from us.... and life was good. My wife and I just did our own thing year after year.

Then we come to the left coast where people aren't as afraid of "different people", and generally more tolerant. It's made us "interesting" and has drawn people into our world. However, under those skirts is just an ordinary old southern white boy... and I think that's where part of the problems sprouted.

Thus, it's somewhat ironic that only since coming to a more tolerant area have I had the notion to just dress normal. My wife and I both agree that [for a while anyway] I'm just going to "be normal". I don't want my new neighbors pestering my wife as to whether I'm transitioning, or asking me "why do I do this?" Or gossiping behind our backs.

If people can't see that there's more to me than the clothes I wear, then I don't want them in my life.

But yeah, I think my wife and I will enjoy our time a lot more if we're allowed to just keep to ourselves and be left alone.

This has been interesting, and has resulted in my having to recalibrate my personality somewhat. At one time it had reduced my overall faith in humanity, but I snapped out if that and simply resolved that... "people are going to be people". There really isn't much difference in people, regardless of what color state they might reside.

I realize I expect too much from society. I forget our species is one of monkey brains that somehow (probably by accident) harnessed fire and came up with the idea of a wheel.

Realistic expectations.

I don't think there was any danger of physical harm. - Did you forget what she did?

Moon and I will be heading to Arizona Saturday morning with our first stop in Boise, Idaho. Can't wait for this road trip! Even Rufus gets to go with us on this adventure too.
