Thanks for that, SImon; it was a very enjoyable read.

I should caution readers that the use of the term "grotesque" in this context is likely the older one meaning "ridiculous" or "grossly distorted" rather than the contemporary meaning of "repulsive".

It sounds like a good time was had by the participants, and they did put up a good job of ridiculing the local politicos. Bravo!
