I used to do work for Clarks in Street, many many years ago when the still made shoes there.

Out yesterday at the laundromat. wore a black long sleeve jersey knit shirt and a dark blue above the knee heavy cotton skirt. mid calf socks and running shoes.
No fashion statement but that's okay. I was happy.
Laundromat was full. A few looks but no comments at all.

We had a company hosted after work party last Friday, I forgot to take a picture but I did get a lot of compliments on my outfit. 8-9 at least.

I was dressed mostly in black with the exception of a red plaid long sleeve shirt under a black vest. My black pleated skirt, black tights and DM Mary Janes.

Felt nice and comfortable all night. :)

Posting this from the computers in the public library in Huron, S.D. Wearing my "Sarah Emma Civil War" skirt from the civil war collection at recollections.biz. This is a mid-19th century outfit. No hoops, but a couple of crinolines underneath to give it bulk (pouf).

I hope things go well for your skirted trip. I guess there should be opportunity for some pictures with fantastic backdrops?

Not knowing where you are going TB i cant say. Attitudes in Italy are different to France. I did see a biker in a skirt in a swiss rest area last summer. That's not something you see everyday.

I’m supposed to be going for a holiday to Paris France for a few days in July with my partner. I am looking forward to wearing my skirts, dresses and tights when out and about in Paris. However, I don’t know what the attitude of MIS in Paris and the rest of France is.
My name is Arty. I’m a guy with a passion for wearing skirts, dresses and tights and a hobbiest musician and artist. 8)

Probably similar than in Belgium/Brussels. Depending on where you go, you will either be almost ignored (shopping street is the best example of it), either a lot of people will peek a glance at you (some not too busy streets are the places with highest glances rate, approaching 100%). I'm now wearing only kilts (very occasionally), but the people's reactions are very comparable to when I wore skirts. Unless you go in places where people really are focused on what they are doing, they will notice your skirt and will take a glance. As for interacting with you "due to that", it remains very, very rare.

Yes indeed! And travelling through Framce into Italy so will be interesting to see if people’s reactions are any different.

Made it! The journey by EV was really easy, only had problems at one stop, fixed by choosing a different charger. I went into every motorway services wearing my pleated black knee length skirt and nude sheer hold ups. No reaction other than one late middle aged guy who gave me a bit of a stare.

Mea culpa, I chickened out when going to a restaurant on my overnight stop as I always feel awkward dining alone and that would have added to the stress. But otherwise travelled very comfortably the whole way.

Return journey at the weekend. :-)

(I would post a pic but can’t figure out how to do it)
