I am a sucker for tall boots and when I started wearing skirts, a tall set of Converse were on my list. So, I am pleased with mine. The boots are just tall Converse hi-top boots, so the leg bit is floppy when not on your leg. I tend to wear them where I want a tall boot look, without the weight and ankle restriction of a normal tall boot. I think mine go well with knee length skirts.timemeddler wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 7:42 pm you got a pair of those two? the work well especially with knee length skirts/kilts.

Seriously tempting... but I already have a pair of tall DMs, and I am not sure whether I can get another pair of boots into the house past my wife!

Being canvas, they do squige down for smuggling or storage. Also they are half the price of the DMs and a lot lighter to runaround in.Myopic Bookworm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 9:29 pm Seriously tempting... but I already have a pair of tall DMs, and I am not sure whether I can get another pair of boots into the house past my wife!
