"You don't have to be Scottish to wear a kilt"

Post by Stevej180 »

This article is positive, using terms like 'troublemaker' and 'rebel' in a playful way about a tailor in Edinburgh.

It's in Spanish but you can feed it into your favourite translator.

Howie is a legend. I’ve got two of his moms including a full three piece no tartan kilt suit which is amazing to wear.

My Spanish isn’t good enough yet to read the article, but I can pick up quite a few words. Time to order a Spanish dictionary from Amazon!

Love the guys style and subvert the dominant paradigm attitude, but you'll need a barrel of shekels to don his tartan-less Tesla Faldones.

I learned about Howie back in 2002 or 2003 when I was visiting
X-Marks the Scot kilt forum.

He made impressive outfits then and still does.
WAY OUT of my price range.
My wallet cringes/screams in pain, at the thought of purchasing one of his creations.

No matter, they are fantastic :!: :D

Also, you don't have to be Scottish to have Scotch in your blood. All you have to do is to drink Scotch whisky.

You don’t have to be Scottish to wear a kilt, but why would you want to? I’d sooner wear tight trousers.

I think you are thinking of that Rod Stewart Scottish bloke who liked his tight trousers until they gave him problems in the trouser department. Turns out he should have worn a kilt!!!

Scots father and English mother, he has never lived in Scotland as far as I know and I doubt he spends much time in the UK these days either.
Still, given his sponduliks, he could wear anything that lets him think he's sexy, eugh!
