I'm glad your skirted holiday is going well. You'll have no bother at all on the return journey. I've flown in a skirt loads of times and never had a problem. And your fellow holidaymakers just don't care what you wear. If you switch your hearing aid from "music" to "eavesdrop" you'll probably hear people saying "that guy's wearing a skirt". The usual response is probably "why not, he's on his holidays" or "that must be nice and cool".

Yes, and men saying it, might be those who have a secret dream of doing a skirt themselves. They just haven't the guts to do it.
