Speeding ? Not likely. Air Bag violation - did you notice the bumpers on that rig ?
Certainly couldn't be for cell phone distracted driving !
Oh I see it - Seat Belt Violation and with no doors roll over ejection is quite possible.

And that is some official uniform of the citing officer -
Where is the Canadian Mounted police when you need one ?
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Dead Penguins

Post by Fred in Skirts »

Dead Penguins - I never knew this!

Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in Antarctica ?

Where do they go?

Wonder no more !

It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which lives an extremely ordered and complex life. The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintain a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.

If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into, and buried.

The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:

"Freeze a jolly good fellow."

"Freeze a jolly good fellow."

You really didn't believe that I know anything about penguins, did you?

I am sorry, an urge came over me that made me do it!!!

We've been on the lookout for that, now rare, NOS part for some years now; these days they just don't make it like they used to . That and a small jar of Lucas Bakelite switch, corrosion gel. Authentic vehicle restorations are never quite right without it. :)

I recall seeing some genuine Lucas wiring harness smoke, for positive earth systems only, some years ago.
It was a distinctly different replacement part to the Lucas wiring harness smoke as shown above.

That particular product was especially useful when trying to jump start a British, positive earth vehicle with a normal negative earth vehicle.

It's also fun working with modern communications gear that runs from a negative 48 V DC supply (positive earth)....the need for floating output power supplies...
