Standard Daily Fail readership, then. Minds so narrow, they could look through a keyhole with both eyes.

Actually, Fred's was rather dry compared to what I'd write. I guess Fred is just more civilised than I am.

It's time to get back to good old fashioned wholesome family values where men dress and act like men a women dress and act like women by God!"
Trouble is, a lot of people will take it as serious ........... and agree.

I once made a statement out of jest at a Council meeting about banning libraries and another Councilor thought I was moving a motion and wanted to second it.

What is this "Daily Wail" the equivalent to the USA National Inquirer* ?

* All the news unfit to print - printed anyway !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Actually more of the Neanderthal type than civilized. I tend to grab a heavy hammer and fram it together rather than use a little glue.
So I don't know what came over me to be so civil this time.... :hide:

Legwarmers? Representing the world of today? I seriously doubt that! And the fake fur(?) vest? No way, Jose!

Here in Phoenix I've seen two boys wearing dresses, one a couple of years ago in the men's room at a hockey game and one a couple of months ago at a Catholic Mass. Both were ankle-length dresses.

So, no leg warmers, not exactly commonplace, but still non-zero.
Courage, conviction, nerve, verve, dash, panache, guts, nuts, balls, gall, élan, stones, whatever. Get some and get skirted.
