I lived & worked in Germany for 8 years and found to my surprise that THEY are heavily into Irish traditional music!. I joined an amateur group playing just that, the DIGB Quarters, doing gigs for money and had a great time.

Bach here I'm a member of a larger group called 'Noteworthy' led by a harpist, in which I play various whistles. Privately I spar with the (dead) Great Composers daily on my 1887 three-legged Bechstein.
