I've just ordered THIS in Grey. Most expensive skirt I've purchased. They also come in blue and black.
I looked at the workmanship on a size 16 at the store, then found a sales person for help. The store
rep could not find them in the store, so I ordered it at the on-line kiosk, then paid for it in-store.
That gave me FREE SHIPPING (Love that sound ) directly to my home.

I may have to have it shortened a bit. The excess material will make great belt loops.
Easy care--Wash-n-wear No Dry-Cleaning bills with this one.

Enjoy that skirt, Al. You might check out 6pm.com. It is a subsidiary of Zappos. They have lots of skirts including some plus sizes. I wear a 16, in most styles, occasionally 18. I have made several purchases from them.

Lots of websites say their skirts are for women. It's to ward off any men who might be thinking of wearing one!

Actually, they may have merely distinguished between Women's sizes (larger) and Misses sizes (smaller). Women's sizes are sometimes called "Plus sizes" and the word Plus appears also.

Reading the ad again, I believe you are correct.
I don't happen to think of the word 'women' in that context because I wear a 6 or 8 in a skirt.

I noticed that Sierra Trading Post currently has a fair selection of skirts in my size (14 -16) including a Carhartt trail skirt which I plan to order tomorrow. As a fairly conservative organization, a very religiously oriented merchant, they too label all items "For Women" and "For Men", and occasionally, with hats etc., "For Men and Women". I always wondered if it was purely informational or if they were admonishing folks like me, who shop "across the aisle" not to do so...Whatever, it has not stopped them from selling me skirts!

Hmmm, Al, might have to go check that one out. 'Course, in my situation, it will invariably need to be shortened, since most knee-length skirts on me are mid-calf. Then again, I don't wear them 2" or so above the belly button, but right at it, or just below.
