I love pleated skirts but they are short on supply theses days for bold guys. I managed to find a source for a variety of pleated skirts availabled in almost any size:

I received the brown curdory plain pleated skirt today. It was wrinkled so I had to steam it first, but size 18 fits like a charm. The table contains: Size code, waist line, hip size and length in cm. It took a month to arrive but it was the last pleated skirt I ordered from china. The china postal service is swift. It is arround 30,00€ including shipping. No fancy decoration and no skirt protector, just a plain pleated curdory skirt with a zipper.

The 44cm long blue cotton skirt from this vendor is a bit too short for my taste, although it looks good.

Sooner or later I'm going to wind up with a pleated skirt, but the peril there is to make sure it doesn't look like a parochial-school uniform skirt! I suppose I'll wind up with a netball skirt or somesuch.

Unfortunately with decoration.

"Decoration" will likely become more acceptable as one grows more confident with skirts and doesn't feel the "need" to "man it up" below the waistline. Hint: If ever in doubt reach up under the hem -- that'll tell you the fact of the matter. (Just don't do it in public.)

Google translate is very helpfull in gathering the necessary information. It is made of curdory and availabled in black, brown, navy blue and you can get it in almost any size you want. Google translate screws the display of sizing information up, so you have to translate every term of the list in order to get the whole image.

I translated pleated skirt, put it in the search field and browsed the whole listings in order to get the information about sizing and fabric, etc. The pleated skirt from Midas clothing plays in another league with skirt protector, really deap pleats and hq fabric.

I admit that the pleats of the curdory skirt are a bit superficial, the zipper is lower quality but the fit is great. Yeah, it is more like a schoolgirl skirt but the Midas skirt is no different in that perspective. That comes handy, cuz you can dress it up or down
