Yes, I like it too, however the need, there, is for decent FRONT side pockets, as I will not put my wallet in a back pocket, it's dreadful to sit on and, I think, too easy to pick. Not very pink or mini either

Re: Pink miniskirt for men
Had another look at that skirt. I couldn't see any pockets, but I'm sure side pockets could be added, the same as I did with the Historical Emporium one.
I'm very tempted to get this skirt. I see the waist design would hold my stomach in really well!
Here's the Historical Emporium skirt that I put the side pockets into:
Sorry Sarongman, can't see me in a pink mini!

Neither can I see you in a pink mini, your forte is the altered silkbody garment, which you do to a tee. Actually, the thought of the picture of myself in one would be, well, so ridiculous as to be tragic.Jack Williams wrote:Sorry Sarongman, can't see me in a pink mini!

Well, one never knows until one tries.Sarongman wrote:Actually, the thought of the picture of myself in [a pink miniskirt] would be, well, so ridiculous as to be tragic.
There was an interesting exchange betwixt Sapphire and myself this evening which pointed up some interesting bits, not the least of which was that I'd look just as stupid in a pair of short-shorts as I would in a miniskirt (it's a matter of balance, not just that the skirt lacks the inseam of the shorts). The "win", by the by, goes to Sapphire for the observation and not for damning me particularly for wanting to try short skirts.
Now, Jack rocks that Historical Emporium skirt to the max, and I applaud him for it. I've looked very carefully at that skirt myself, but with my stature that skirt will gracefully graze my middle shins. That said, I'm still contemplating one, and we shall see how money plays out.
If one has the body type where short works -- USE IT! Don't gasp for breath, embrace the look and run with it (viz. Kilted_John)! If it doesn't work for your body type, gracefully accept that and, in the interest of the wider world (I suppose), keep it to one's own backyard.

That floor length one looks like it may be your length Carl, and may be too long on me.

I'm used to shortening things for my short legs though!
Thanks for the comment too Carl, that Historical Emporium is in fact my big favouite in the skirts. And needed no altering except for the pockets in.

That looks like one I bought and then had to sell to somebody on this forum because it was too tight for me, however it looks like they now make it a size larger, I am tempted, if only I could remember what size I tried out last time!

You may have answered your own question
What was the Brand or Label on the skirt ?
If that manufacturer has a website go there and look for any indication of size chart info -
OR look at his other skirts to get an idea of sizing ratios between sizes.
Other than that go back to the person you sold a skirt to and get the size/measurements
label information.
Fingers on the keyboard (internet/forum) is the least expensive method of trial and error.

Oh and the Pink Mini-Skirt that started the thread is still UNSOLD expires in 2 hours ......
But the seller is not providing any more detailed information sadly !

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

The Historical Emporium skirt only comes in one size, with tight elastic to fit all! Yes, too tight, but I attacked the elastic where the tie string comes out in front.

Re: Pink miniskirt for men
I have a US size 10 light pink (pale pink or baby pink) miniskirt that is has a 12" drop. I am 6'1" around 170 lbs and have worn this one around the house with a number of different solid color shirts (polo shirts worn outside - not tucked in - and covering most of the skirt), but have not worn this outside per my wife's request. I would have no issues wearing this out and about, as I have a fairly trim figure and great legs. For me, a miniskirt is the best way to show off my legs, and I often get compliments from women. When not wearing skirts or kilts, I often wear polo shirts that are baby pink or hot pink and I also get lots of comments from the women about the bright colors in my wardrobe.

I bought a black knee length skirt to my husband, last month. I had bought it from Sigrid Olsen online outlet. It is so soft to wear and looks so stylish.

Wekcome to the site Janet_09!
It is always welcome to hear from wives/girlfriends in their support for men wearing skirts.
Does your husband wear skirts only in the house or more generally outside as well?

I allways wonder if they had female kilt inspectors in the scottish regiment. They must have been strict and rigorous and have given the wimps in underpants a hard time.
@Janet_09 Are you that kinda chick?
