Here is an on-line pinboard for men wearing skirts and kilts - only a very few look out of place or wrong

Nice collection. Thanks for the link!
Not all of these are for everyone, of course, and some I'd say aren't for anyone (shudders). But it's encouraging that more and more designers seem to be working on the skirts-for-men concept.

Hey, I've just seen from that pinboard what's needed to go nicely with a skirt ( and there are a few of the models showing this ) bl**dy great muscles - arms, chests, abs and legs. Look around them and there's one or two I wouldn't argue with!!!!

Had a look at the pinboard. Some are really good I thought. Have to admit I liked the dress in the first pic best.

Re: Online pinboard for manskirts
very thin material and he is wearing pants under the dress. This is fashion art.
Re: Online pinboard for manskirts
I didn't see pants under the dress. I saw various shading of light to dark, similar to a
blended paint scheme on a car or truck. Dark at the bottom then getting lighter the
higher up you go. The designer did use the same concept on the upper part by using
the shading at the button line, under the pectorial muscles(breast area) and at the
top of the "Abbs". With the darker shading, less see-through material on the bottom
part of the dress, the wearer doesn't have to worry about the 'modesty' aspect.
Just my $.02 worth

Re: Online pinboard for manskirts
Just my initial reaction but to me it's a dress that was made for a woman. The sleeves are puffed and the length for a woman and appear tight on the model suggesting that they were cut for the thinner arms of a woman. The material is semi-translucent and the bodice appears to have the darts and cut for the female bosom. It also appears as if the buttons are the woman's side of right over left but it's maybe difficult to tell. My conclusion is that the model is wearing a dress made for a woman, nice as the dress may be and one that if it was cut for a man that I would wear ( with underwear of course ).

Not for me, thank you!
Nor would I find it attractive on another person, man or woman.
If anyone here uses Pinterest, could you tell me how to get rid of unwanted pics?
I set up a page and included a few photos from an Indian page that I liked. Unfortunately, the whole collection now appears my page, though there are styles that I do not like at all, and I do not know how to eliminate them. I'd prefer my page to show only things that I would wear myself -- and things I do wear, of course -- but I cannot find any instructions how to edit a collection.

Thank you, Dennis.
I am still somewhat confused; sometimes my page comes up with just my photos, other times, there are mine and all the pics from the Indian fashion page.
Not that it matters much really.

It's a long standing problem of rushing out applications or utilities ( calling them applications is a slur on the real applications that us hexperts used to turn out ) without sufficient development thought or time, minimal testing and even less thought for functionality such as maintenance. Sigh, will people never learn? Like others I have worked in development using several methodologies, thorough testing using documented test cases and the involvement of those that will use it. Nowadays they seem to throw out these things and leave the users to flail about trying to use it before they give up in disgust and turn to something else better designed.
