V Man magazine September issue 2011

Designers taking there cue from the clergy, including mens skirts. While this is not my kind of fashion I have to "rejoice" and "sing my praises" that designers are starting to challenge the current stagnate idea of men's fasion. As I have said before, mens fashion seems to be experiencing the beginning of a revolution with men's skirts at the fore front. From what I am noticing, more and more designers are including the skirt for men as a part of the masculine wardrobe, hallelujah! I pray that we see the men's skirt take to the street and become apart of everyday wear.

Although I don't want to be mistaken as a priest, I agree that the look is very masculine and hope that more designers pick up on that and include similar styles as part of their collection.

I to hope that these styles become mainstream.

The skirt in the first shot is positively magnificent! However, it's probably also a $500 item.

I'm not a big fan of "the man of cloth" look, and that skews my opinion of the finished looks to the point that even the first one, which is the best of the lot, is not something I would emulate. Instead, I would reinterpret the look in a semi-formal or business-style vision and go with that.
