Anyone ever thought of trying this with an old dress shirt?

Not a bad use for a dress shirt - the only way I would wear one.
Although on a man with a long jacket it could be taken as no pants day.

Hmm, it appears to be made from the lower portion of a dress shirt that had long tails (there are no buttons on the lower part of the skirt). I wonder if she uses the sleeves for the waistband.
Now that I think about it, I have several skirts from a guy in Seattle who re-purposed clothing into skirts. I think all of mine started out as skirts, but I think some of his stock started as shirts or blouses.

Don't know why I never thought of something so simple!
I don't know if I can call it downcycled making a fun skirt to me seems like an improvement :)
This particular link uses old T shirts, but I think there is no reason you couldn't us any kind of pullover shirt. Probably could adapt to do a button down shirt to skirt very easily.
For my size frame I would want to go with a 3X t shirt, I like roomy skirts.
