We think that men can look good in dress and still maintain masculinity. What are your thoughts on this topic?

Hmmm... that depends a lot on the person who will consider a guy to be masculine or not, obviously. Actually, I almost never seen a man in dress that looked masculine to me in. Each time it was kind of deguisement or in some particular ambiance, but it was never any "regular dress". For example, this guy (https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0b/af/39 ... ef9b7d.jpg) or these guys (https://i0.wp.com/middle-earth.xenite.o ... ard-01.jpg) look masculine to me, but are obviously not wearing something we might wear for regular days. In a general manner, medieval dresses for men are looking masculine to me, but that's the only general example I can give you right now (there are probably some others).

The fun is actually that I hardly find any guy masculine in dress, but that can happens more regurlarly with skirt :D

I've meant something different. How not to look like caricature of woman. Similiar to this photo. You can find thousands of similar pictures circulating Internet. And don't get me wrong. I'm fine with this picture, but I don't think, that it might be something you will find usefull in every day life. I am talking about outfit which you can wear at work and still would be seen as a man.

It didn’t even occur to me whether it was a masculine look or not The answer is definitely yes. You look good in those dresses.
I agree you look like a man. Not a man pretending to be a woman or a caricature of one

I completely agree with Shilo. You look great and there is no doubt you are a man.

To be honest, I think the masculine dresses need to be (re)invented. Most dresses are made to accentuate the female figure, which we don't have. Invariably they're too tight round the shoulders. Recently I've been looking into how fashion design works and it's fascinating. But also non-trivial. It must be possible to make a dress that looks masculine, while also being casual. What makes something look masculine anyway? Isn't that just a matter of what you're used to?

Skirts are much more forgiving that way. You can pair if with something else and so have many more possibilities.

To me, this is a 'masculine' looking dress.
I purchased one, loved the fit, ordered 3 more on-line.

I then add a complimentary plaid sport shirt like this -

A great combination which adds to the wardrobe and gives MANY possibilities :D

I've used a couple of 'colorful' shirt designs and find no negative feedback.
This keeps the idea of a solid basic color on the bottom with a brighter
colored shirt, as if you're wearing shorts or trousers.

As a bonus, FREEDOM around the waist and ease of walking :D

Just my $.02 worth ;)

I think there may be some possibilities. Might be an interesting challenge for designers.

I wear dresses frequently and believe wholeheartedly that I look good in them, otherwise, I wouldn't wear them. I've sported short hemlines, knee length styles and mid-length and pulled off all of them well, as for looking masculine, I don't bother with such trivialities, if I see something I like and looks nice on me, I'll buy it and wear it, even if it looks "girly", hell, I prefer that. I've worn cami strap styles, floral prints, even the occasional bodycon. The bottom line is that I have lots of fun in dresses and will continue wearing them.

I think dress may be nice, but it's not easy to find the good shape for men's shoulders.

I've tried a lot of dresses but bought a few!

This is what I was referring to earlier in this thread.....

To me, as long as the shirt has a straight hem,
this would work any man.

(Sorry about the lighting  )

I love the floaty dress with the yellow shoes. The skirt part moves so nicely.
