Boots and Skirts
I am enjoying the trend for over knee boots this winter - and we're heading into spring here - but I am enjoying experimenting
Anyone else wear boots and skirts out and about?

Re: Boots and Skirts
I’ve worn thigh highs with short skirts a few times, but not recently. Perhaps I’ll return to that this winter. By the by, looking great, nz!

Re: Boots and Skirts
thanks JeffB
you'd look good in thigh high boots I reckon.
What I'm liking is the leg warmth - and its so much easier than stockings.

Re: Boots and Skirts
Funny you should mention that. Below is a photo of my very first outing in a miniskirt and thigh high boots from several years ago, 2009 I think. If memory serves, I was more nervous about the skirt, fearful of bending down or sitting in the darn thing, but the boots were a thrill to wear!nzfreestyler wrote:thanks JeffB

Neat look JeffB
I like it.
You've always had good legs. Do you wax/permanent removal?

Re: Boots and Skirts
No to both, or shaving or anything like that. I've always had naturally hairless legs (arms too), good genetics I suppose. In any event, I'm VERY happy for that, given how much I wear skirts and dresses.nzfreestyler wrote:Neat look JeffB

There is an old Clint Eastwood western " The good the bad and the ugly" compared to NZF and Jeff , I guess I would fall into the last slot the rest of you can figure out the other slots

In my own defense I think I do a little better job in this one

Old Salt
that 2nd look is better in my opinion, Is it a 11'' mini or therabouts?
I think I am lucky because I have a smaller waist and top half than you do - which gives me skinnier profile. I am only 27'' on my waist which means I wear a size NZ 8-10 dress - and I think that means US 4-6?

Actually its 13 inches. I think the last time I had a 27 inch waist was in about 6 th grade. I wore the last outfit to a private house party.
Obviously I didn't sit much that night.

yes oldsalt,
gotta be careful getting up and down ! But you do get used to it and it gets easier with practice.
I am not a heavyset person - so I am lucky to be able to wear a lot of clothes. A small waist makes a lot of tailored skirts very easy to wear on my waist and hips - same too for the likes of a suspender belt etc. It just works.
You must be fairly long in the legs I think - based on your pic.

Re: Boots and Skirts
Would like to, but size 46 boots with low heel are difficult to find. I don't want high heels, for one thing I hit my head often enough as it is. I would pair them with one of my knee length wool skirts for cooler weather. I may be a little different from some of you, as I get about without a car, so the weather practicalities come into play, and mini skirts just aren't going to cut it.

In a word....WOW!nzfreestyler wrote:red skirt
That reminded me, I also have a pair of five inch heeled thigh boots. Perhaps I’ll take them out for a spin once fall rolls around.

You guys look amazing!
I last wore a decent pair of boots at a friend's house a few years ago Simple frayed denim skirt, top, brown tights and boots that he'd lent me. But nothing compared to all of your outfits!
NZ Freestyler, you look great
