Hi I'm new

Post by warl35 »

Hi I'm Warl from the Midlands. Really pleased to find this site and realise my thoughts are not just mine. Since most clothing now seen as solely in the female domain was originally worn by men as men's clothing I have found that odd and inconsistent since it doesn't work the other way round.

You are quite right warl35 - my sentiments exactly!

Hope you enjoy reading about a wide gamut of experiences here and keep us posted on what skirts you have, where it is accepted with family/friends/colleagues etc.

Welcome to the Forum and hope to see you joining in on the chat.

Welcome Warl35,

It's always good to have new voices from the civilised (?) side of the great herring pond.

Feel free to jump in to any conversations that take your fancy and to reveal as much or as little of your skirted experiences as you feel comfortable with.

Have fun,

Ian.

Hi and welcome, from the other side of the world. My ancestors, from my Father's side were from the Midlands, though were more landowning gentry than working class. The ancestor that came here in the 1830s was a Judge! My maternal side is pure Celtic. However enough about me---let's hear more about yourself. Again :welcome:

Hi and welcome from New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

Be it known that I am sitting at my desk wearing a knee-length skirt of the class that might be considered "office wear." A small walking pleat in the back.

There will be no comments, my colleagues are quite used to it.

Thanks guys for the welcome - much appreciated. Sitting here today in a slinky tight purple above knee skirt. I really like the feel of material and the combination of the tightness of the style and the fresh air around my legs
