Nudie Jeans Kilt

Post by renesm1 »

Not overly fond of this kilt but at least Nudie Jeans sold this at one time (it has now "sold out")

Good to see another retailer getting in on the kilt action!

It's a nice looking kilt but don't like the pockets in front.

Yes the pockets need to be somewhere less obvious - certainly not in the apron flat front (nor in the back pleated area).
Best functional place is on the sides of the kilt either hidden in a seam fold; pleat or perhaps detachable.
Just my NOT so humble opinion !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

I've found the best place for a single large pocket is on the front surface of the inside panel of the overlapped apron, slightly off-centre towards the opening side; it is easy to reach by slipping a hand behind the outer apron panel. A smaller pocket can be concealed in a box pleat below one hip.
There is no such thing as a normal person, only someone you don't know very well yet.
