Not noticed any more

Post by RichardA »

So there I am dressed up to the 9s and no one noticed or even gave me a second glance,
I think we have cracked it, I just blend in with the crowd. :D

That's awesome, Richard -- on BOTH counts.

Your look in that shot just rocks.

Splendid outfit!

I do not think you really blend into the crowd - you are just your own self and are accepted as such!

Ah, not trying to take anything away from you Rchrd, but there you are - you are wearing a tartan kilt along with the jacket and sporran and that's the difference. Even MOH could accept me going out in such a kilt, but probably only just. You do look great in that getup, though.

Actually, I think this an acceptance of the kilt, rather than being unnoticed. When all the other men are wearing trousers, a kilted man stands out.

BTW, that's a fine outfit that Richard is wearing.

Southampton must be the kilt capital of England, Richard, if that outfit lets you blend in!
Keep on skirting,

It's not that others accept your kilt; they don't care. It's that you accept it.

I used to stay frequently on the south coast, where there are Scottish country dancin clubs everything few kilomètres. In 25 years, I saw only one man at any dance that did not wear a kilt -- or should I say, the kilt! Not that you,d see them walking kilted in the streets, but nearly everyone had one -- and wore it.

I still think that if you want to look really good, nothing beats a proper kilt outfit, that one looks really smart. I love the tartan, since I don't much like really bright reds I have always gone for the green option, which is still quite loud! Richard, that kilt is really smart, what is the tartan?
