Ron,
You're a wizard with a computer. I like that latest kilt, too.

Ron,,
I'll have to introduce you to 'my' choreographer, Royal Ballet trained, who did it for 'Phantom of the Opera' among others. She could help you with your demi-pliaes and pointe &c.!!!

There's a scene in the Cameron film 'Titanic' where Kate Winslett goes down into Steerage to join an Irish party there. To the strains of Irish traditional music she takes the centre of the little dance floor and gradually raises herself up to stand on the points of her big toes, much to the amazement and delight of her audience. That's 'pointe'.

The other, the 'Demi-Pliae' is where the dancer crosses the feet on the floor, knees pointing out either side and squats right down on the haunches....That's my understanding of it. They're both serious ballet exercises and only possible after a long training.

I'm only winding you up. 99.99% of blokes couldn't attempt either.

Next 'step' is to put the crossed swords on the floor and look up a highland fling dance book on where to put your toes & in what sequence & you'll be nearly there!

You could start in Wikipedia. The Mr Google is your friend...
