Actually, Fred's was rather dry compared to what I'd write. I guess Fred is just more civilised than I am.

Trouble is, a lot of people will take it as serious ........... and agree.

I once made a statement out of jest at a Council meeting about banning libraries and another Councilor thought I was moving a motion and wanted to second it.

Actually more of the Neanderthal type than civilized. I tend to grab a heavy hammer and fram it together rather than use a little glue.

Here in Phoenix I've seen two boys wearing dresses, one a couple of years ago in the men's room at a hockey game and one a couple of months ago at a Catholic Mass. Both were ankle-length dresses.

So, no leg warmers, not exactly commonplace, but still non-zero.
