Another skirted man on TV

Post by skirtingtoday »

Did any of you catch this article which includes a reference to Omar Epps wearing a leather skirt (albeit over trousers)on TV? :-

http://www.theroot.com/articles/culture ... p_hop.html

And the previous interview on "The View" to which the article refers:-

With how he was sitting (usual male position), it was just as well he did wear trousers! :D

And another one also mentioned in the article above - Trinidad James wears a mini-skirt:-

He seemed to get a lot of "stick" for being "gay" and "trans-sexual" and "being a stupid N****R" comments in other articles which is not nice nor conducive at all at least for miniskirts on men -> even for hip-hop artists and rappers.

I think the look is fine as he has the legs for it! :D

The women in the discussion seemed to ignore Omar Epps' outfit at first. Then when they disappointed me by asking about it (far cooler to take it in your stride) he seemed surprisingly bashful about it, hardly standing up fully to let his skirt be seen properly.

Anything like this is good, if you ask me, betrousered or not. Even Trinidad James' ghastly combo of denim mini over patterned red beach shorts is a step in the right direction!
Keep on skirting,

Alastair
