Anybody, see the Greek offering, great song, no idea what it was about but they rocked the skirt/kilt costumes.

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.
Here is the Greek song - but not showing the kilts/skirts worn on the night.
They're still wearing skirts though... (btw - the fourth song "alcohol is free" was the Greek entry)

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.
Just watched it, not as bad as I thought, thanks for the link!
It reminds me a bit of the Leningrad Cowboys:

Ooh wow! a whole concert on YouTube, I spent money to get this on DVD and here it is:

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.
I'm not a Eurovision fan either but that was a chance sighting and I'm glad I caught it.
It certainly doesn't do the cause for men in skirts any harm either.
The Danish entry was certainly prettier though.

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.
This link should go straight to the Eurovision show:-
http://www.uitzendinggemist.nl/afleveringen/1343182
As noted above, set the player to 1hr 38mins to see them in action.

I tried that myself, ST, but from a Dutch IP the link did not work; it said Page Not Found.

You might have better luck with this one: http://www.eurovision.tv/page/multimedi ... s?id=87173
I never watch the Eurovision with its boy-band slush, but I accidentally switched it on during the Greek song and was amazed. A great song title, great performance, and great outfits.
Actually, they seem to be "divided skirts", i.e. very loose knee-length trousers, but the message that definitely goes out is that these are normal men in skirts having a good time and looking cool in the process. Things are looking up!
Now for some of that free alcohol ...

Owen,
Yes, I thought they were divided skirts as well, however, other videos show the group wearing kilts, they seem to be happy to skirt. Smart!

And they have strong competition from the younger generation-Big and Bashful wrote:Owen,

Here is an interview with the group.

They are in kilts. The interviewer asks why they are "wearing skirts". I thought the answer was excellent.
You can check out more of their stuff here-

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.
Janrok - I have tried the link for the show and it works here - so maybe some areas have limited viewing rights. Your link is OK as well and is better as it is just for the Greek entry itself. Must try and find an mp3 link for it as I will be going to Greece this year! And pleated - the youngsters were great too! Looks like they had a lot of fun doing it and wearing kilts as well! And I liked their answer - having a Scottish/Greek link through kilts/fustinellas both being types of skirts.
