And now... high fashion

Post by Bob »

Over the past couple of months, Juan has posted an amazing collection of interesting and beautiful high-fashion photos depicting (mostly) men in numerous outfits. Juan, I want to thank you for this (so far) single-handed effort at educating us of what's going on out there in the fashion industry.

Some people believe that skirts for men was a largely failed idea of a couple of designers in the 1990's. We know this is not true. And the articles posted in the last month prove that it's not true in the world of high fashion either.

So, for all the fashionistas among us... let's see what we can dig up in Paris, New York and Vogue magazine! And for those of us who don't think designers are relevant; remember that EVERY piece of clothing you're wearing, except maybe a T-shirt, was designed by someone. Maybe not a celebrity name-brand designer who can do anything he or she likes; but a designer non the less, working to produce designs that look good, wear well and come in under budget.

HEY:

How come I can not view this area "COUTURE" ?

Reply I am getting is:
You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum.

I am as regular as any other bloke in this forum - or at least I thought I was.

Of course maybe kilts are not very Couture !?!

"Kilt-On"

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

What a wonderful Administrator this site has, asking members contritely to please complain. Most site admins hope no one complains and keeps his/her head in the sand until someone does.

I'll have to remember to post a similar request on the other site. :D :D :D :D
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
