Does anybody know why for nearly a week The Mens Fashion Freedom Network site has been down.

Could be due to the constant barrage of Spammers, do you think? Or, perhaps the owner's gone on holiday again! It 'went down' then, as I remember...........

The message I see, "IMFF IS CURRENTLY OFFLINE DUE TO SERVER UPGRADE", could mean any of a range of hardware or software changes. I hope the site comes back online soon.

am in the process of shifting it and upgrading the forum software
etc. I got fed up with the spammers.

At times I wish I could send the electronic silver bullet and end

It might be possible that the proprietor of IMFF no longer wishes to continue --- possibly due to SPAM, possibly for another reason.

I would be happy to merge IMFF into SkirtCafe, if that is what all involved desire -- it would probably involve making new categories along the lines that IMFF had. With cooperation, I could even move over all the messages over from IMFF. Does anyone know how to get ahold of IMFF's proprietor? What do people think of this idea?

Great Idea!
Although I do not have any leads or idea who runs/operates the IMFF
Forum; it sure would be nice to preserve the historical data of that
forum. I would sincerely hope the operator if he does not plan to
continue his forum would appreciate an offer to continue it merged
with the SkirtCafe.
My Vote a definite YES! "Go for it!"

The owner of the IMFF site is Nigel - he stated in his reply to me that he was just upgrading his site - see my post above - it is a copy of the e,mail he sent me.
I don't see why he should give up his site.

I like IMFF - when it is not being spammed so much - as it has a different emphasis on men wearing skirts etc. than does the Skirt Café forum - and I think that diversity is a good thing. I don't think it would be a good idea to absorb IMFF into the Skirt Café at all. They are too different.

I hope IMFF gets back up running in the near future.

Nige... I'm certainly not an expert on SPAM. But I eventually found a couple of tricks that have gotten it under control. Please contact me if you're interested in seeing what I did (and it's not clear already from the site).
