My sunday Project - personalising my plain sporran
My sunday Project - personalising my plain sporran
I have been thinking about tranforming my plain boring sporran to something interesting. It took me a while to determine what to be put on the Sporran. Then one day, I decided that I am going to replace the tassels with a 20 teeth chainring that I took off my mountain bike a few months ago.
So I cut off the tassels to day. I turned a Black sporran from:
to this:
It took me 1 hour to find the perfect chain and 10 minutes to put it on. I am doing this because I just bought a leather kilt. I want to have something that is out of the ordinary to wear with the kilt. The chain and chainring give the sporran the industrial look. I showed the finish sporran to my ex and she thinks the sporran is more me than ever. She likes it better than the original
