Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

Interesting: in less than 30 days, I'll be a member of Skirt Cafe' for 18 years

Just looked up my profile and I'm the same vintage as you Auncle Al. And I'm eternally grateful to Tom for setting up the cafe. The stories and encouragement from other members has been invaluable.

My first post was Dec 4 2011 so a little under 10 years.

According to my profile, six years ago in 10 days time. I do remember Tom's Cafe, and I certainly remember reading Skirt Cafe for longer than six years, although not sure if I had an account before that or just read the public threads. Anyway, my skirt wearing dates back more than 20 years, with very occasional dables going back over 35years.
I came for my first Americano in September 2010, so 11 years and counting.
My skirt journey effectively began nearly 50 years ago but the mileage during my time here has shown a
rather significant increase.
Final destination, I will let you know if I ever arrive.
Steve.
