Tim Brooke-Taylor - Taken By Covid
I remember The Gooides, but I was maybe a bit young to get the humour. I' familiar with the works of TBT (as I will call him) more for Bananaman and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. The latter is British humour at it's finest. For our American friends in particular (who most likely will have never heard of him before), TBT was at university with the Python crowd, so if you like that sort of comedy then ISIHAC should be up your street.
Here is an episode from 2003 and many others here if you are interested.

TBT will be missed by many from my generation, I loved the Goodies, always preferred them to Python, probably as I was a school kid at the time and my parents did not like Python. Tim did work with some of the Pythons before Monty Python happened, yet another old British comedian gone, but definitely not forgotten!
