Sounds pretty universal to me but perhaps like common sense; not used as much as one would expect.
I have seen some house rules written in old shearing sheds - but not the sort of thing I could post here - the same intent though; putting things back, cleaning things up, .......... just a few extra adjectives to accentuate the importance of things..........but nothing on closing doors as they have strong springs on them (without dampers) and slam shut in a nervewracking manner to keep the flies out.

Pretty much universal.

I was always told when I was a kid that "you don't have eyes in the end of your fingers" so don't touch things.....

Oh and the office rule here..."Your mother doesn't work here, so clean up after yourself".

The windmill in the picture is more like one from Southern France or Spain.

Ah ha Don Quixote - de la Mancha !

To dream the impossible dream - - -
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
