Ok I'll toss this into the pie. Nancy Pelosi is the most powerful Democrat in our government today Yet only 275, 292 people ever voted for her.

IMO, the best place for Nancy Pelosi to be is in Albuquerque, NM. The best
time would be in October. This is when the big Hot Air Balloon Festival
takes place. The balloonists would save a fortune on propane as she would
provide all the Hot Air they would ever need.

When Pelosi went to meet with Trump on a big area where Democrats and Republicans can productively work together, infrastructure funding, Trump walked out. When a politician refuses to do his job it's time for him to be fired.

When Jenn and I get into a spat.... sometimes I storm off too.

Trump and Pelosi remind me of an old married couple....

Good luck with this thread!

I see that for Trump’s visit to the UK, a much larger hot air balloon is being prepared - that of a large Trump baby!

Here’s the one from last time :-)

I love it. How apropos. However, I find it sad that the Scottish police have caved to the PC brigade in not allowing it to be flown. I'd always viewed the Scots as a bunch of proud renegades not a collection of obedient little toadies. Blast. Another fond notion blown away in the wind.

Lacking HOT AIR there is a problem with the global HELIUM supply - but Trump denies anything with GLOBAL in it -
not happening - no collusion - no obstruction !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Helium isn't the only stuff that can lift gasbags, there's always hydrogen. In fact the latter is quite a bit more effective than the former as its atomic weight is one quarter that of the latter's. Hydrogen does have the unfortunate property of being a bit on the flammable side, though; however, so does The Real Trump Baby so this might be a wash.

I wonder if a tour of the New World could be arranged. The "security" arrangements would be rather hard to arrange and amusing to watch (from a great distance).

Jim answer me this

You are going into a meeting.

Just before the meeting the person you are going to be meeting with makes a very widely published public statement that basically calls you a liar and accuses you of being involved in a cover up.

What would be your reaction

Would you enter the meeting with a smile on your face.

Or would you tell that person to take the meeting and put it where the sun don't shine.

I'd enter the meeting with a smile on my face. I'm a Christian who tries to follow Jesus' teachings like "turn the other cheek" and have had experience working with people who don't like things I'm doing. I've learned to focus on issues and work with people I have personality differences. I wish our leaders could be at least as mature.

Indeed, we are about to witness what happens when Fox news and CNN collide.

Though I must admit, it's refreshing to finally see a Christian (Jim) who hasn't abandoned Christ and started worshipping Trump. Around here in Appalachia, "christianity" is all but dead... exist no longer... in its place... Trumpianity.

I know we're not supposed to call other members names, but in Jim's case it was meant as a compliment.

I am a Christian and I believe with your philosophy of turning your cheek. Unfortunately it doesn't work in politics.

I also would agree about our politicians acting mature as long as it is directed to ALL politicians.

And Moon why does supporting President Trump infer that one has abandoned his Christianity.
