Railroad Museums

Post by Uncle Al »

For anyone in the mid-west portion of the U.S.A. you might
be interested in the Illinois Railway Museum at Union, Illinois.

A visit there would be a fun-filled weekend, cause it sure looks
like you can't 'see-it-all' in one day :D

I have been there and you are right you can not see it all in one day. In fact you could stay for a week and still not see it all. It is a great place for a long week-end for train lovers and railroad history buffs. :D

I love that place, been there often.
But now that I am somewhat Handy-caped, I can not do much walking.
Great place to spend a day.
