Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
I think I actually "met" you once, briefly, right as tom's cafe moved to this new layout/site.
As for the avatar....it's a cover of a *cough*romancenovel*cough* called "Men in Kilts" appropriately enough. It's not a bodice ripper though, more of a romantic comedy

Hi Kiltlovinglass and its great to see your interest in men in kilts. Im Scottish and wear kilts, trad Scottish ones a lot. Whats your view on full Scottish dress and what would you look for in a man wearing a kilt outfit.

To elaborate a bit, Im trying to persuade younger men to wear the kilt more often than just the odd wedding and need the honest viewpoint of what girls would find attractive in this day and age. We need to keep the tradition alive as I was introduced to it early.
Thanks...Ian
P.S You can PM me if you prefer but Id appreciate your comments
It's great to have your support!! We really appreciate it... You wouldn't hate me in a three tiered gypsy skirt, would you? 'Cause I love to wear kilts too, but sometimes, I like the flow of a long skirt.
