Hunting Skirts
About a year ago I ran across a company selling “english hunting skirts”. I tried searching with those and similar keywords, but didn’t turn up anything.
The general style was a wrap wool skirt, calf to ankle length, worn either alone or over pants. Tweed, of course, and sold “overseas” (somewhere in Europe). Sold in wonderful greens and browns.
Anyone see anything like this? Price-wise... they were “affordable” if you only bought one - I seem to think around 80 GBP.

They seem to be upmarket tweed skirts

This one is nice, but to be honest, tweed skirts can be found for a fraction of the price on ebay

I ran across those, but that's not what I had seen - I have a few tweeds, but these were different. Almost like an ankle length a-line wrap skirt. Sort of if you took a stiff tweed blanket and did as little as possible to make it into a skirt. It was on my "list" of styles to sew.new2skirts wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 4:24 pm They seem to be upmarket tweed skirts

The "retail" pictures featured men (in pants) and women getting ready to hunt (foxes?) in a Scottish moor or something of that nature.

Fount it - took switching to google.co.uk.

Oh and price... normally £320 but now reduced to £190. That's why I never bought one
The proper term for them are "Rain skirts".
They do have some for sale at a clearance/reduced price, and non-tweeds are affordable.
And let's not forget this company makes a "kilt" version of it:

Really? Kinda funny they have to use the word kilt to sell it to men...
