I used to claim it was 31.42 inches because it made the calculation of circular skirts much easier.
There is no such thing as a normal person, only someone you don't know very well yet.

One of the charms of this site is the humour and wit of its members, usually coming from unexpected directions. Nice one pelmut.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

I've just read the articles linked from the OP, and I can't help wondering how much higher the BMIs of the gents in the illustration would be if they hadn't been emasculated!
Keep on skirting,

Pants I wear a 31" usually. But I wear a lot of pants made to ride high like 1890's dress pants so I buy a little larger 32".
My kilts are mostly O'neil of Dublin women's kilts with a higher waist and I can fit a smaller 29-30" waist if worn high up.
I am 5'7" with a little muffin tummy thanks to slack muscles and a tiny bit of fat. I need to tighten up my stomach and I can
then wear a 38 or 40 size kilt without any issue.
