Long ago, I read with much enjoyment the journal of a 17th Century English traveller to the Continent (I wish I could find it again, or remember his name) -- but he described how, when he passed through the county of Kent on his way to the Low Countries, he was much perplexed by the inability of a Kentish innkeeper to understand him when he tried to order eggs. Subsequently he discovered that the word for eggs in the Kentish dialect of those times was eyren -- which is the same as the Dutch eieren. English still has a trace of that word in 'eyrie', a nest of eagles. But if Kent still has a dialect, I can't say that I have noticed it.

I like it to see those German details of the interior like the ribbon to pull up or lower the outside blinds. When living in the Netherlands, I spent a lot of time in Germany, for my military service, for work and to visit friends. I even did some house remodelling for friends near Stuttgart.

Me and the Pink Pig

Post by Mark as in Mark »

2nd trip to the Porsche Museum in as many months. I read that Porsche was displaying for a short time the 2018 Lemans winning 911 RSR. Since the new 911 RSR is configured like my Cayman, and as a Cayman owner, it is one of my favorites. Porsche refuses to call it a Cayman, but rather it's marquee 911. The RSR was displayed exactly as it was when it finished the race in first place in the GT Pro class. Porsche clear coated all the dirt and rubber that the car had collected during its 24-hour race to victory. This has been a trend for Porsche in the last 5-6 years as the winning 919 Hybrids received the same treatment.

It was really crowded this weekend and what I didn't read in the newspaper was that it was a family day and all parents with children got in free. So a lot of young ones running around. For one of the first times in the last 18 months, I felt a bit conscious of my skirt and high heels. Typically, I am around only adults and not around this many children. But some funny looks and some fingerpointing was about all I noticed.

I wore a sweater and a burgundy skirt with nude colored high heels. Maybe not one of my best efforts, but I was traveling by train to Stuttgart and it was cold outside and the pumps are comfortable to walk in for longs distances. After looking at the pictures the sweater seems to add 20 pounds.

The Pink Pig livery was chosen as it was Porsche's 70th year anniversary and Porsche entered 2 RSR's that had "throwback" liveries. Back in 1971 Porsche entered a 917 that had unique aerodynamic modifications made. It made the 917 a bit wider and the mechanics said it looked like a fat pig compared to the regular 917K.

Looks like just another one of your well-thought-out getups, Mark. I don't see those imaginary pounds.

Or should I say, two getups? Unless on taking your sweater off, you also dyed your shoes grey. That might be a step too far, even for you!

Nope, not a quick change artist. The picture with the gray pumps and gray shirt I wore several months ago. As I mentioned in my first comment that it was my 2nd visit in as many months.

I had to take an unexpected trip on Saturday to Stuttgart to pick up a football helmet, and the guy I was meeting said we could meet at the train station there in Stuttgart. A train was leaving in about 15 minutes so I had no time to change. I had just gotten back home from going to Obi (Home Depot) for some propane to heat the garage so just wearing a simple skirt, a hoodie, and some boots. This is my Caultron impersonation. :D As you can see I don't wear stilettos all the time! :P

My wife and I went to a good friend's 60th birthday party last week. She dared me to wear a short skirt for her party, so this is about as short as I can go without exposing anything. It was a fun night, my wife said that she counted at least 3 hands under my skirt during the night. I was wearing pantyhose and a black thong and to be honest, I just remember our birthday girl with her hands under the back half of my skirt while we were dancing to a slow tune.

Very daring, Mark. And very tight round the posterior, leaves nothing to the imagination I should think. I notice that your hand obscures whatever bulge may be showing at the front and I can't help wondering if that is deliberate!

I can't walk with my hand in front of my crouch all night, can I? I raced bikes a long time ago and got very used to having the bulge visible in my lycra-spandex shorts. So I don't really care and besides "real men don't tuck". Plus I am not that well endowed and some tight underwear and pantyhose also compress the bulge a bit.
