hold up stockings
Re: hold up stockings
I would recommend the same site to you as well PartlyScot. Again the products are well made and are designed to fit the male body. I have purchased many times from them and I have found the quality and customer service to be exemplary. The owner Steve is a very nice fellow and will be happy to help any way he can, even to the point of accepting a replacing items that may have had a defect and helping you with sizing. They are a niche market company but they are very good to deal with.
Re: hold up stockings
Could the problem be that you have hair on your legs that prevents the silicone strips from adhering? Or you could do what hockey players do to keep their socks up - wear a garter belt.
Re: hold up stockings
I remember my mother using a garter band, similar to
a hair band used to make a 'pony-tail' for long hair. It
was round and could be rolled down, rolling the material,
making the 'band' fatter. Thus keeping the hose UP.
Unfortunately I can't wear 'hold-ups' or 'thigh-highs'
due DVT. That's why I have to wear compression P-hose.
I don't want ANYTHING constricting blood flow and possibly
causing more clots in my legs. See THIS LINK.

Re: hold up stockings
I use this for my thigh high socks to hold them up:

I wear it every time I wear my thigh high socks and have zero issues!

Yes, and I have dealt with them. I bought some of their stuff, and it was pretty good. Unfortunately, they stopped the option for free shipping to Canada, it doesn't make sense for me now.hoborob wrote:I would recommend the same site to you as well PartlyScot.
