OK, maybe I need to explain. The Mr Turk ads I am referring to show a minimum of 4 different guys wearing skirts that slightly resemble kilts (fashion kilts I would call them). Some show shirts with a man wearing the skirt, others show different color skirts. Strangely, none of the targeted ads that I saw had one pair of pants. What I was commenting on is that the marketing is sophisticated enough to show me only the pictures/ ads I would respond to. Sort of scary that they have me pegged, but interesting that they are promoting these photos/ ads.

My guess is that there is some sort of photo recognition software that figures out what I look for, and then does a match.

For the price of a MrTurk kilt, I can buy a sewing machine, some fabric and still have some cash left to eat at my local diner and show them my home made kilt or skirt. What is more, I already did it.

But as I said before, any advertisement with men in kilts or skirts is a form of promotion unless the outfits are too extreme.

The other outfits are extreme, certainly in the fit and pricing! If you are keen to show off your junk, the pants (trousers) are the perfect fit...

As for the "kilts"

I think unless the wearer is after the Japanese Schoolgirl look (especially the first one with the straps), they may not be to everyone's taste. But good that some designers are incorporating skirts into their ranges. Now take $250 or so off the price and some may even start looking! Some of the more "bespoke niche" shops make the mistake of pricing too high, and so people who may be interested shop elsewhere. That's what killed Midas Clothing

Just a small observation of how things have changed

I finished doing my laundry for the week . after its washed I put it in the dryer for a short while than hang it up
to finish drying.

When I was done hanging things I looked at the rack.

I had 2 pair of pants no shorts 2 dresses and 5 skirts.

I know, I could wear the same skirt at least Five days in a row right. (Joking). Also do you go shirtless? No mention of any tops.

The red works, but it's a very bold statement.

Is that a sheath dress and a jacket or a top, skirt, and jacket? It might make for an interesting experiment to change out one piece at a time for a neutral or black/white piece to see what happens.

How about this for a laugh.
I attend a weekly PTSD group. This past week we went to a horse farm .
This is a new therapy working with horses. The interaction promotes a feeling of calm and distraction.

I questioned our group leader if there was going to be any riding or is it just caring and mingling with the horses.

She said no that no riding was involved. than she asked why I was concerned. I said I was wondering that since I was wearing a skirt if there was riding would I have to do it side saddle :?:
