Looks good for me.
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/232253905045?ul_noapp=true
I asked for the waist measurements, and a quick reply said 30" - a pity because I need 34", 32" at a stretch (literally as it has 3% spandex).
I have something similar but with full length pleats and small pockets.
This skirt has all the right criteria for me; belt loops, good pockets and "kick pleats" which give that little bit extra freedom of movement and enough drape when sitting. I like the way the pockets merge into the belt loops.
The postage to Australia is costly but I'm willing to pay that as I haven't seen this brand here at all. I bought a similar "American Eagle" skirt but the pockets are not as deep and it is not stretch denim. Shall keep looking (hint).

I normally don't like asymmetrical skirts because most human figures are 99% symmetrical. This one appeals to me except for the price, has a casual plus dressed look and a wrap too - slightly steampunk which I like.

Re: Items on eBay
Find a skirt that is to dye for and handy with a sewing machine or have a tailor seamstress shop with ability to alter something to your specs -
Then buy and follow thru on making those alterations.
Taking something that is bigger and making it smaller is generally easier than the other smaller made bigger.
Still yet adding a panel be it the same color or contrasting could work - sort of like a reverse dart where the waist is tucked in a notch.
Find something that is CHEAP and inexpensive (both at the same time mind you) tear it apart (destruct it) and make a pattern to enlarge
or reduce it to your specs (size) !
One after thought when making alterations consider some flexibility to keep you skirt fitting well when you put on weight or take it off.

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

It is true that style, material, size and price don't often line up at the same time.r.m.anderson wrote:Find a skirt that is to dye for and handy with a sewing machine or have a tailor seamstress shop with ability to alter something to your specs -

I am pretty handy with the sewing machine and the buying but the follow through usually get postponed with so many other projects of higher priority. Hence my saying that bought about me being introduced to skirting; "I will do it in a mini"

Re: Items on eBay
Hi. Found this on ebay. Its a pattern. Via internet rabbit trail. My search was for mens tunic. This came up in the list.
My phone is limited on how well I can see pictures. But it sure looks skirtish / dressish to me.
Peoples minds are so limited on mens clothing being trousers and shorts only. Drives me
Crazy! Just a few centuries back and this was common.
I'm not a man in a skirt, I'm a clothing historian?
I'm a few centuries late. However I do like indoor plumbing, microwave ovens, medicine ect. Guess you can't have it all
MishawakaKilt
Link and picture posted, I know eventually the item will be sold and the link will become inactive.

Re: Items on eBay
For a moment I thought it had something to do with Greek Renaissance but the label on the package states English Renaissance.
Interesting blouse and pantaloons and don't mess with this dude - he's armed with a WMD (weapon of mass destruction) an 18 inch blade !

Re: Items on eBay
Genuine RM WIlliams mini skirt, made by the renowned Australian stockmen's outfitters. Their boots are made in Australia and a pair costs more than a set of boots for my car. The mini skirts are made in china but no doubt would have been highly priced when new.
I already have one in size 16 and is a bit big for me, a 12 or 14 would be better.
I like it because it has the unusual combination of no typical zipper "fly" but has pockets and belt loops. Also if some macho cowboy asks What is that you are wearing?", I can say "Oh it is RM Williams".
