Men rocking skirts

Post by skirtingtoday »

A few older pictures here - run out again - but a lot of new ones I haven't seen before and all showing wearable looks for men!

This isn't a bad collection, and at least some are more wearable than the usual and supposedly high-fashion offerings.

Very mixed bag. There were some interesting ideas there, far too many were spoiled by adding pants underneath, don't see the point. if you want some colour on the legs, stockings, thigh highs, or tights. Putting pants under just seems like you're missing the point.

Ones I liked,
#9 "they can be formal" lose the pants and put on some opaque hose of some sort, nice.
#10 "or casual" Like the skirt, different shoes and long sleeve shirt maybe?
#11 This one is very nice, looking for a rig like that.
# 15. "All black is a classic look that benefits from a skirt." Quite agree, even the footwear works, why pants though?
#16 Skirt is nice, rest of it looks untidy.
#17 Like the look, but not sure that's a guy. If it is, too androgynous for my taste.

Thanks for posting.

Agreed, Caultron. My only complaint is applauding trousers under skirts, which makes no sense and makes the wearer look too timid to commit to non-bifurcation.

I would wear:
#20 the blue one
#24 a bit like a joker but I like it
#26 without the pants of course
#33 I do like the pleated mini/utilikilt look

I can appreciate #11 but I am personally not into formal wear.

I agree, unless skirts over trousers could in some way be a stepping stone to skirts without.

That's a very good collection. Most of the looks work, particularly the ones that look like they are ordinary guys, from no 6 onwards with a couple of exceptions.

A lot of these guys need to get rid of their trousers. Honourable mention to no 26 though, which I think I a good look anyway.

No 7 catches my eye. It looks like his skirt is no big deal. Plus I like the skirt itself! No 23, the guy on the bike, is great too.

Why the woman at no 17?

At no 20, the man on the left looks like he changed out of his trousers specially for the photo, but the guy on the right looks like he's been hanging round in that skirt all day. So he wins!
Keep on skirting,

I could be wrong but I think it's a dude. Quite the art of androgeny if I am correct. Can anyone else tell?

Great photos! I love the diversity of styles, and have no objection to pants under skirts.

#17 is a man. Each photo's source is linked beneath it; here's another of his photos: https://instagram.com/p/zfLnMcr0tx/
