There is nothing wrong with the skirt/brief,
I'm sure there isn't anything wrong with it as such, but having seen what women wear as briefs, I can't imagine anything like that would accommodate what a gentleman has to accommodate in his. Having said that, I have never tried one these running skirts, so I'll have to take your word for it that a chap can wear them too with the brief.
what is wrong from my point of view is the attitude of the two women who founded the company. BUT not to forget this is a company by women for women a male market was never their goal which perhaps explains the attitude.
If they are business women and looking to expand their market, then I think we should approach them and enlighten them as to how they could offer their product to the remaining 50% of the population. What do we have to lose? The only obstacle I can see is that they may take the view that they actually
don't want men wearing these because they want their main market, women, to perceive them as uniquely feminine sportswear - their femininity being their selling point - and the notion that men can wear them too could detract from that.
Lastly, with regard to the cost issue, they are ridiculously expensive in the UK and would only appeal to a relatively small "niche" market, so maybe we shouldn't be pinning too many hopes on them doing anything for the wider cause of expanding men's wardrobes.
