Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

An amazing sight at my firms London office today. We have a floor full of meeting rooms. I came out of a meeting to see a partner say goodbye to a client by the lifts. I heard the client speak to him - clearly male, and on looking, I saw a chap, balding, early 60s. In a skirt. A grey pleated knee l...

I like the second look much better, visually more congruent.

I hope the client meeting goes well - report back on anything that might interest us!

Re: Mr. Kirt, Italian skirt maker

There seems to be some interest in MIS in continental Europe. One has to wonder if, eventually, someone there will market a garment that actually gains traction. I don't think there's ever going to be some magic unbifurcated garment that makes men say, "Now that's something I would wear."...

Re: We need to get the message out more

Echoing what Moonshadow said earlier, the only way to make this more mainstream is for us to just keep on wearing skirts in public. I think that someone else on this forum said that every time we wear a skirt in public, it makes it easier for another man to do so. It may seem like an epic task, a ha...

Why Most Men Still Don’t Casually Wear Dresses

https://www.racked.com/2018/4/23/17261508/gender-bending-men-dresses While none of what is written in the article will come as any surprise to people here, it does bring it all together in a well-written piece. Basically, how you dress symbolises (whether you like it or not) how you see your place ...

Re: Troubles for men in Germany when wearing a skirt

That's nothing to do with the skirt and everything to do with lewd behaviour. Indeed. I remember, some years ago, walking down the road near where I live and seeing an old man semi-reclining on a bench wearing shorts. You can guess what I saw! Nothing to do with the clothes, all to do with the beha...

Re: Skirted London Weekend

When did you go to London? I was up there last week and I wore a black ASOS dress and black tights and trainers. You may have seen me but I'm hoping those three other guys in a skirts were unknown to us on this forum. What were they dressed like?

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

The Americans seem particularly prudish about exposing the nipples in TV programmes. Over here we have programmes such as Silent Witness ( a coroner murder mystery type, sort of the equivalent to CSI but different ) in which female "dead" bodies are exposed, breasts, nipples and all. But ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

And I'm not saying you are one, but why do prudes dislike public breastfeeding? The nipple is usually visible for two seconds or less. The average bikini or low cut top displays a lot more but nobody minds. I've never understood that either. The first week on my last real job one of my colleagues o...
