High heeled sneakers

High Heeled sneakers has been sung by many. I have The Who singing it in Quadrophenia and the rolling stones singing it. My preferred version is by the man who wrote it,Tommy Tucker AKA Robert Higginbotham Tommy Tucker sang it in about '62 It's a superb, bluesy song and when Tommy sings it you can't...

I highly recommend the skirt/skort in my "New skirt... Skort" thread. I've cycled over 100 miles in mine and I've had a few short jogs in it too. Very comfortable, and thanks to the built in short it hides all it needs to. I've sewn the split in mine all the way up, so no matter how hard t...

I too was struck by your use of the word “play”, especially the second time you used it. I never thought of it as play in my life but then I don’t dress as a female. . I wear femal clothing but never try to look or act female. With a moustache and usally 4 or 5 days beard growth I couldn't if I wan...

So you get 6 hours a week to be you and the rest of the time you’re in servitude? That's about it.... But it's not that bad. Most of the time I'm in work, it's only the evenings and weekends that I'd be able to "play" so 2 nights a weeks isn't that bad really. At least she's started on th...

Many years ago, my wife (girlfriend as she was then) used to dress me up in all manner of ladies attire for our "bedroom antics". These days she hates the idea of me wearing skirts and dresses. We're having counselling to resolve this. It's expensive and I'm not that sure it's worth the co...

No time to get the studio out... I REALLY do have a studio :) ST ...

New skirt...er skort actually

Hi all, it's been a while since I was here last. I just thought I'd pass on news of my new purchase In Halfords the other day I bought a "Bicycle line" Cycle skort. A pair of short padded bike shorts with a stretchy skirt built in. The skirt is similar in look to a wrap around but it's sew...

I work in an exhibition center. I'm often in the public viewing areas. I haven't worn long trousers to work for 4 weeks now. Where I work is very liberal about the dress code. As long as we have the correct T-shirt on (Different colours for different departments) no one says anything. Non public fac...

The only skirt cycling I've done was a year or so ago when I used to cycle the 2 miles from where I played netball to home. Cycling in a netball skirt is not ideal, but VERY refreshing :) Skirts with bike shorts. I have one of these, but never wear it. Pointless in my book. Designed for people who d...

Thanks for that advice. They still feel 'nappy-like' though, and that probably adds to the feeling of self-consciousness (don't forget, I'm still carrying much excess weight) when I've worn them. Halfords sell a brand called Bicycle line. The pad is not too big, but more than adequate. Some shorts,...

My Favourite pair are by Aristoc, these are permanently borrowed from my wife, but usually I buy from Tesco or Asda. I buy the thickest and blackest they have.
Dirt cheap but they do the job nicely. Don't buy the cheap end though, they don't last.

Bike shorts are almost as good as skirts

I've tried cycling shorts (for, would you believe, cycling! :eh: ). To be honest, I found them extremely restrictive. These days I'm rarely out of cycling shorts. I cycle to and from work. I cycle at least 10 miles each night. I cycle 20+ miles each weekend morning (I'll be out again as soon as my ...

Thanks for all your replies. Most interesting. A few things. When I refer to ladies clothing, I'm refering to clothing that is traditonally worn by ladies. Clothing that is styled in a feminine waye etc etc etc. I fully understand the point that if a man is wearing it then it's male clothing. As for...

I wear thick opaque black tight under my cycle shorts on winter evenings. It feels great, looks good and keeps me warm on long rides. Sometimes I wear cycle trousers over the top, depends how cold. When I was serving my apprenticeship, we used to work in very cold buildings full of machinery. I once...
