skirt designed for men

I just got a new one legged pants (skirt) designed for men. It is made by tripp clothing company and sold at hot topics. It is a bit on the gothic side, black with chains, but the chains can be removed and it looks more like a very long black cargo skirt. It is really fun with zippers to adjust the ...

"I've not seen any foto's of men in skirts with petticoats, but it does seem an interesting option. Giving extra layers of protection, and pushing the skirt out a little. Rather nice. I think petticoats are not easily obtainable here, and quite expensive. I'm thinking of the thrilly petticoats....

At the risk of being seen as out there, I am currently wearing a knee lenght skirt with two petticoats under it. I am not wearing any other graments that would be viewed as for females. Before you judge you should give it a try. they are rather nice and drive my wife crazy ( in a good way).

New York City

I recently moved to the New York City area about two months ago. It has been a crazy change. I have gone out in denim skirts a few times in my neighborhood without any real response. Last night I went out in a longer black skirt and got a surprising number of turned heads and it was rather uncomfort...

I often find myself a bit on the timid side myself so your insight was helpful. Thanks

[quote="ChrisM"]It is certainly widely PERCEIVED to be a real issue. I have many times gone through security in a plaid skirt (they think it's a kilt) and never provoked a response. On the other hand, in East Coast airports I admit that I usually go through security in trousers and change ...

This is a very interesting thread. It brought anyother interesting question to mind. At what age people started skirt wearing? maybe worded better then I just did. Anyway just a thought.

switch hitting

You know Charlie I had a similar experience in primary school, never was able to switch (although I could never get the dang left handed scissors to work either). I think at the least being left handed forces you to learn how to think outside the box, as you have to be pretty creative to navigate wo...

Congratulations

Congratulations on your new adventures Skirttron, you know Stu is right that people really are kind of indifferent for the most part. I sometimes wear skirts that are not denim out and about and every now and again I may get a strange looks but that is about it, and I live in arguably one of the mos...

cat calls

I was out and wandering the local college yesterday in a skirt and received resounding cat calls from the ladies within the accounts offices as I walked by. I wonder if they would have responded so boldly had it not been Halloween. Anyway it was an interesting response.

deepest Apology

I think I may have unintentionally touched a nerve with you Bravehart. I absolutely agree with you the narrow definitions given for transvestic fetishism are to narrow and discriminatory. I think that men in skirts to often get miss labeled by society and the mental health field. transvestic fetishi...

This is a very interesting thread I must say. In the spirit of disclosure I am a clinician and a skirt wearer. With that said I have a few thoughts on this thread. In my experience there are many different causes for the attraction of skirt wearing by men. Sometimes they do include the reason stated...

This is a very difficult situation that I am sure many of us have had to face over the years. I do not think there is no absolute answer to your question. I think you have to sit down and take an honest inventory of what is important to you. If kilt/skirt wearing is a part of your identity, is it a ...

A leg up?

I think AMM has some very interesting and good insights into the often contentious split between “orthodox” Cd’ers and men in skirts. I only recently found the men in skirts community and the only place I had to try to find a voice was within the local CD’ers community. I have often been greeted wit...
