We should all keep in mind that as kilt wearers, we are ambassadors promoting the idea of men in skirts. Regardless of the reason for it, we must expect this question. We should respond in a polite or witty reply. An impolite or rude comment will be perceived as, "guys in kilts are nasty"....

Hiker, do you think the comments about your kilt come from just curiosity about, "the guy in a skirt"? or do you think that there is a deeper curiosity from the men wondering what it be like to wear a skirt?

Mountain Kilt

I already bought a Mountain Kilt last summer as my first kilt. I find it very relaxing comfortable for hiking. With a 32 inch waist I ordered the medium and it is about 21" and hangs just above the knew. However one of the snaps broke (may be due to expanding waistline!) and I can't seem to fin...
