Re: Passing wind

This may sound a little kinky, but I think the feel of the wind lifting a skirt (not too much!) is one of the most most wonderful feelings I know.

"The Boy in The Dress" raises a question.

Watched “The Boy in The Dress” on BBC TV last night, a televised drama of the book by David Walliams and thought it was very well made. One thought did occur to me while I was watching. Dennis (the boy in the dress) did not want to be a girl – he just wanted to be able to wear a dress, because it “m...

Youtube lecture and newspaper article comment.

I came across a really good presentation by a young lady to a class of students the other day. It is entitled "Boys in skirts are Awesome" and is very positive, articulate and logical. Do watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdRm36GDJ84 Also, the other day when I was reading the "...

Re: Boy wears skirt to school

I see he got support from the presenters of this morning's BBC breakfast program, who all turned up wearing skirts. Quote " It feels as great as I remember it when I wore a kilt. The freedom is magnificent,' he enthused. Its a wonderful feeling. Quite honestly - I have a meeting in central Lond...

Re: Creative Writing - Help Please

Hi Charlotte, You are very articulate and I would expect that your essay assignment will be a big success. I, for one, would love to see the finished work if it is acceptable and possible for you to post it on site. I tried on a skirt as a boy and was immediately hooked. I recall the feeling of free...

Re: What is it called?

in all the years I've been wearing kilt/skirts I've never seen anyone else in one, maybe I live in the wrong area My wife and I usually take a cruise each year, leaving from Southampton. Because it takes too much room in the luggage, I have taken to wearing my kilt to and from the cruise ship ( I u...

Re: Our Bodies, Our Voices

Very well articulted. I don't know if you have heard of or seen a film called "Dress Code" or sometimes known by the title "Bruno". It is the story of a young boy who expresses his individuality by wearing dresses, directed by Shirley Mclaine and it makes many of the same points ...

On a similar topic, I was at the theatre recently (wearing tro*sers) and went to the Gents after the show. While waiting for a vacant urinal, I saw a woman come out of one of the cubicles, saying "sorry lads, I just could not wait" (There was a queue for the ladies ). My wife was waiting o...

Any information about this dress code protest?

I just caught the end of a news item on the radio in the UK about some air traffic controllers (I think it was in America ) who were wearing skirts, dresses and kilts to work in protest about a new dress code prohibiting jeans or shorts. I would be interested in finding out more about this. I expect...

I started off my skirted/kilted life wearing a "proper" tartan wool kilt with all the extras, sporran, knee length hose, etc. etc. Over the years, I started discarding the accessories, finding a kilt more comfortable and in my view, more attractive, without the sporran and long socks, etc....

It's certainly true that no-one but a maniac will yell stuff at you when alone. In my experience, only males ever do it - usually as an apparent joke - to prove they are straight to the other people they are with - male or female. Builders, of course, have in the past yelled stuff at passing female...

Yes, a very sad story. I believe that the high incidence of suicide amongst young men is at least in part attributable to the culture where men are expected to supress their full range of feelings. (The only apparently "acceptable" feelings for men are beligerent and macho type feelings.) ...
