Birks are quality shoes. I've a few pair that I've had for years. While I am not a fan of Crocs (at all) I do like the look of those particular Birkenstocks.

I have my phone (iPhone) set to NOT RING if the calling number is not in my address book. Friends and business associates get through - but strangers do not. If is a real call and they leave a "real" message I will respond.

I stopped carrying a wallet a few years back and it has helped alleviate some back/hip aches. I have a quality leather cast for my iPhone that has slots for my licenses, a credit card or two, and a place for folding currency. I suppose that is my "clutch" bag.

I'll be driving the wife to a mall in a bit - cold outside so we'll be "walking indoors" today. I just put on a pair of dark gray leggings (that she bought for me) under a (U.S. Air Force) tartan kilt (that she also bought me). Lucky camper here.

Last month I, too, voted while wearing a kilt. Last night my wife and I went to a concert of the Vienna Boys Choir, and I wore a kilt. I also received several nice compliments. But, then again, I wear kilts every day.
