It's big... And cumbersome at times. It's big, I can usually carry the camera, with the battery pack (seprate for the old film cameras), and my 28-200 lens... Which takes considerable space. I know it's a normal camera bag, infact that's what it was originally bought for. As for my photo's. Well at ...

Got to agree with Pythos. Stocking and hose when put on properly are quite confortable, and sometimes quite handy. I have been wearing a brand called sheer relief on occasion of late. They compress the legs, and do wonders for leg aches while at work. And I've just got to laugh that she didn't know ...

Well after some more advice, I decided against the epilator, instead I got a cheap shaver. Works damn well, and avoids the risk of nicks that comes with a normal razor.

Well, looks like quite a few use them.

The one I carry normally is huge. And this photo doesn't really do it justice for how large it is!

"Man" Bags?

OK. I'll admit it. I hate carrying things in my pockets! Hate it with a passion! I gave in about 3 years ago and started to carry a camera bag all the time to keep my wallet, phone and LOTS of other useful junk in while I was out and about (including a Film SLR camera!). Finally gave in today, and d...

I might give the epilator a try then... I usually hate pain, well mainly acute pain... But can stand long term throbbing very easily. So I guess it'll just be a test of my convictions...

Have to agree with Steve. I'd say not a TV room so much, as a room that opens up the mind to further exploration of ones self. I have never had a desire to pass, but at the same time I have never been 100% comfortable with myself, or my choices. Now I have looked at the Atrium, and find it's far too...

I must admit a more open minded room would be a welcome addition.

I have been feeling the lack of a more relaxed forum since IMFF has been offline.

...Some friends in South America have a neat SUV - forget who makes it, some Korean company I think - but has a little Daimler Benz turbo diesel, about a 2 liter displacement, maybe smaller, very efficient.... Wouldn't happen to be Ssangyong? We have had them out here for a while now. Our neighbour...

Removing Leg Hair?

OK, I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find any threads on here about it. Has anyone removed their leg hair, and if so, how? I have been contemplating shaving reguarly, but I hate shaving at the best of times. I have tried waxing, NEVER again will wax come near my legs! Have been thi...

The other type of vehicle you might want to take a look at, if you don't require the heavy-duty bits of a 4x4, is a minivan. I drove minivans for about 20 years for a total of a shade more than a half-million miles, and I can unequivocally state that they make positively splendid "road cars&qu...

Nice bit of gear for comfortable long distance touring---till the Toyota comes back on the scene. Um, kind of. I find all cars are a pain in the thighs if I'm driving for long enough. In comparison I once drove the Landcruiser for 14hours straight, not a single twinge. So really looking forward to ...

I've only just discovered this thread and seen it to the end. Good God!!! Trainman, how are you now and, did your insurance cough up for full replacement value? Yeah, Insurance paid the loan off, and I had enough left to pay my credit card off. Lucky the insurance value was $2000 more than I paid f...

I personally can't stand wearing much jewellery.

I always have my pentacle on ,but other than that, I only wear my watch when I'm out taking photo's, bush walking, or at work.

So, what about all the Australian free spirits, if there,s 33 of us, then let us show up in this post. A proud Australian, even if I'd like to see the end of the little dessicated coconut, A.K.A. our "beloved Prime Minister. Now that not being nice to "Little Johnny"! Then again just...
